About
I'll keep things short and simple: I'm a 24 year old male who graduated from a local community college with four Associates Degree in Applied Sciences (Computer Information Systems - User Support, Network Technician, Network Manager, and Microsoft Security Specialist focuses). While studying for those degrees and taking classes I also snagged CompTIA A+ (Essentials & Enterprise Technician), Network+ and Security+ certifications. In addition I am now seeking a (sole) Bachelor's degree through Ohio University. While computer networking, hardware, and troubleshooting is the area I want to work in, I've had an avid presence online for more than a decade.

My focus started out on animated DC Comics websites (Hey, I was 13 at the time. Although I'm not sure what my excuse now is...) and as a result I've kind of stuck around the animation scene. Five or six years ago I began my position as a moderator on the Toon Zone Forums and eventually went on to become an administrator and webmaster of The World's Finest website, one of (if not the) top DC Animation websites online today. Since then we've (as in I and the only other staff member of The World's Finest, James Harvey) made use of the contacts that we made from the presence we made online with The World's Finest and started WF DVD Report, where we review the latest DVD and Blu-ray's. Time consuming to be sure, but as a result my movie and television DVD/Blu-ray collection has grown exponentially...although to think that I've written over 1200+ reviews of movies and television shows over the last couple of years alone is slightly maddening. Still, it has no doubt improved my writing abilities, which has made me all the more coherent in an online world where grammar is often destroyed by twelve year olds.

While I've certainly learned a lot in the world of web design and coding, I discovered early on that staring at lines and lines of code for hours each day wasn't where I wanted to spend the rest of my adult and professional life. As a result I still do websites on the side and in my spare time, but it's not my only focus when it comes to the world of computers.

As for other uninteresting and generic things about me: I enjoy video games, I love movies, I watch a ridiculous amount of TV shows and I am currently awaiting employment so I may purchase my first car, a 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T. Exciting stuff to be sure.
